  - - -Steps to recreate - - -
  1. Edit /etc/netplan/01-netcfg.yaml and add bridge interface entry br0

  # cat /etc/netplan/01-netcfg.yaml
  # This file describes the network interfaces available on your system
  # For more information, see netplan(5).
  network:
    version: 2
    renderer: networkd
    ethernets:
      enP5p1s0f0:
        addresses: [ 9.xx.xx.xx/20 ]
        gateway4: 9.xx.xx.xx
        nameservers:
            search: [ xx.xx.ibm.com ]
            addresses:
                - 9.xx.xx.x
      enP52p1s0f0:
        dhcp4: no
        dhcp6: no
    bridges:
      br0:
        interfaces: [ enP52p1s0f0 ]
        addresses: [ 65.65.65.32/24 ]
        dhcp4: no

  2. Apply the changes by running below command
  # netplan --debug apply
