Your USB stick contained a mix of trusty and utopic.  Before reusing a
USB stick for another release, you need to clean it.

  Grub boot loader won't install.

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I have tried to install many diffrent versions of ubuntu all with the
  same result.

  When the instalation is "Complete" the PC reboots and then after the
  bios screen im just left with a black screen with a flashing cursour.
  Like grub wasn't loaded at all.

  I just tired to install 14.04 and i finally got an error message
  saying that grub couldn't be intalled.
