Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted
the installer in EFI mode. You either need to boot the installer in bios
mode, or partition the disk using GPT and set up an EFI system partition
to install in EFI mode. This will be done for you if you choose the "use
entire disk" guided install option.

Title:
  Ubuntu 18 installation failed due to grub

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I just don't know what to explain,

  1) Ubuntu 18.0
  2) grub-installer failed during installation
  3) Successful installation of grub and ubuntu able to start
  4) Whole installation failed

   I hope this info and bug report file is enough. Need your assistance
  how to freshly install ubuntu 18.
