You edited your /etc/default/grub file and put an incorrect space on
this line:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT= "quiet splash"

  Trying to install grub-efi-ia32 on Ubuntu Wily for an Asus Transformer
  T100. The package failed to install when the operating system was
  originally installed.
