Status in debian-installer package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  This is basically a duplicate of bug 1051313 (which I don't know how
  to reopen), yet the issue is still present on the netboot/netinstall
  mini.iso images being generated and listed on
  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/MinimalCD (both 32 and
  64 bit).
