Title:
"Could not calculate update" from 17.10 to 18.04

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Was getting the "Could not calculate update" when I tried to upgrade
from 17.10 to 18.04. Now I know that 17.10 is not officially supported
anymore, but it would help me a lot if I didn't have to format and
  reinstall 18.04 all over again
