Thank you.

I did actually use "entire disk" method, but unfortunately that is not 
really what I wanted.

However, you have pointed this rather amateurish but long standing user 
of Linux in the right direction.
I wonder if that is why my little used version of Win 10 (unfortunately 
needed to update my SatNav)
is refusing to cooperate on updates.
