*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1700306 ***

Public bug reported:
I just know something's amiss - I'm running Ubuntu 17.10 and got an
error report, which asked if I wanted to report it, so clicked on "OK"
-hopefully, there will be enough information included for you to make
something of it AND also eventually resolve it - it seems to me that
Ubuntu is getting buggier and buggier as time goes on?
Otherwise, I know squat about what is actually going on - this computer
is a Dell notebook that originally had Windows 7 on it, so I ended up
taking MS up on upgrading to Win8, not realizing what MS was actually
"giving me" was Win8 Beta, and when Win8 was actually released I'd be
required to reinstall Windows 7 once again - one I did attempt to
reinstall Windows(r) 7 from the supplied by Dell DVD, the driver for it
would no longer connect to the internet! So I've been running Ubuntu
ever since...
I can't tell you what actual program decided to crash.
This computer has an Intel 2-core processor in it that is multi-tasking as if it were 4-cores. It has a label on it that says "Intel Core(tm)i5, is also energy star compliant and came with Windows7, which WAS able to connect to the internet when I got it...
Thanks in any case,
