[Bug 1744700] [NEW] xfce stops accepting keyboard and mouse output

Public bug reported:

It seems to happen randomly but frequently. xfce4 randomly stops
accepting keyboard and mouse input.

But the alt-tab window changer thing works. And I can click the windows
inside that animation, but nowhere else can I use my keyboard and mouse.
