Customization of ISOs is beyond the scope of debian-installer bugs. You
might want to try asking on a user support forum of some kind.

** Changed in: debian-installer (Ubuntu)

Title:
don't create custum distribution with Ubuntu 18.04

Status in debian-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I try to create my custom CD image with extra packages for examples
grep, less, python. But I get the following error when I install my
iso file on the virtual machine.

  Jun 6 15:12:07 base-installer: info: Found kernels ''
Jun 6 15:12:16 base-installer: info: Not installing any kernel
Jun 6 15:12:16 base-installer: info: Installing queued packages intob /target/.

  I use this release: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/18.04/release

I create the iso file with instructions of Ubuntu. These are here:

  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InstallCDCustomization

  https://www.mail-archive.com/ubuntu-devel-
  discuss at lists.ubuntu.com/msg16956.html

I don't know what to do, because I followed the instructions and I did
  it well.
