What are the command line parameters of this grub-mount?  What kind of
partitions do you have on your disk?  Can you attach an strace to this
process?

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 18.04 installer stucks forever after page with "download updates, minimal/normal installation, proprietary software". There is grub-mount in processes that drains 100% of one cpu core.
  It stucks both in generic and uefi boot modes.
