Hi Manjo, Pedro said late last week there were still unresolved issues with the patches upstream.  I think this needs to move to 19.10 while that gets sorted out - he said it was going to be at least late September on it....

Bug description:
  This feature request is for GDB support for access to Power registers
  that are currently not accessible: PPR, DSCR, TAR, EBB, PMU and HTM
  registers.

  The feature is currently being worked on, so no upstream code is
  available yet.
