This is not a bug with the software that provides the release upgrade
process, rather with the system after upgrading.

  after wake up from sleep, the keyboard is dead.

Bug description:
   I can wake up with the kb, but when the screen is back, no kb... I
  recently upgraded from 16.04 to 18.04, no bug before this... The
  laptop is a Sony VPCEH series. I close the screen -> sleep, I open the
  screen -> still asleep, I press mouse button or press any key on KB,
  it wake up, and when the screen is on again, the KB is dead.
