Title:
Invalid hostname when put FQDN on "do not configure network"

Status in debian-installer package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I was trying QA testing for lubuntu in:

  http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/389/builds/170809/testcases/1700/results

"Alternate Install (No Network) in Lubuntu Alternate i386 in Bionic
  Daily"

when i put FQDN hostname after selecting "Do not configure network at
  this time" show red screen:

  Invalid hostname
  The name "host.sub.domain.tld" is invalid.
  ...

If i go back and put only hostname it works.

It only happens with this network configuration, manual or
  dhcp/autoconfig allows FQDN names.
