Bug description:
Beforehand, I'd like to apologize if I'm reporting something
inconsistent, but I believe that somehow what I'm reporting can be
  useful.

I've been testing bionic Ubuntu since before the first alphas, so the
first bionic installation iso came out at "http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/" I've already downloaded, installed and used it (on my
computer (at my own risk, of course)).

The problem is that all this time I installed and removed a lot of
things so that my ubuntu got a bit messy. So I decided to take
advantage of the beta2 release to perform a fresh re-installation.

The problem is that I have been trying this with the "isos" available
  at "http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/" from 2018-04-04, 2018-04-07
and today, 2018-04 -08 ... and, in all cases, after burning the
pendrive and start the installation process, as soon as the system
finishes loading the graphical installation interface (be it "try
ubuntu without installing" or "Install ubuntu") , it freezes, leaving
only the mouse pointer working. I have to turn off the computer on the
button to be able to reboot.

My computer is a dell inspiron 7000 series gaming notebook with the
  following configuration of video cards:

  $ lspci -k | grep -A 2 -i "VGA"
00: 02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Device 591b (rev 04)
  Subsystem: Dell Device 0798
  Kernel driver in use: i915
  -
01: 00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GP107M [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile] (rev a1)
Subsystem: Dell GP107M [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile]
  Kernel driver in use: nvidia

This weekend I have read many articles from people who have been able
to install bionic beta2 normally, so I think my problem is related to
my hardware. So I decided to report this bug for informational
  purposes only.
