Possibly the same or related. When running "dpkg --configure -a" and the
request of synaptic it hangs. :

The link /initrd.img is a dangling linkto /boot/initrd.img-4.13.0-38-generic

 (/boot/vmlinuz-4.13.0-38-generic) -- doing nothing at /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-4.13.0-38-generic.postinst line 491.

<hangs here for now appx. 1 hour>


I tried ubuntu-bug but I cannot link it to this bug for some reason.
