[Bug 1719982] [NEW] please add a way to enable debug symbols

Hi,
add-apt-repository is already doing so much for ppa's adding sources as well as adding keys.
If one wants to enable debug symbols usually people follow wiki pages, but it would be much better than following some wiki pages.

Essentially integrate [1] into add-apt-repository.
