SourcePackage: grub-installer
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
This bug occurs on a fresh install of Lubuntu 12.04. It occurs on both cases, of the installer being started from the boot screen, or after the entire lubuntu desktop has been loaded. See below screenshots and description.
This problem is also persistent, which means I have tried that twice,
and it didn't work either times. Lubuntu install fails and is unusable
afterwards
I also tried typing following directly on the commandline (after
stopping the installation)
sudo grub-install /dev/sda
/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for /boot/grub (is /dev mounted?).
