Bug description:
  I installed Google Chrome and ubuntu 'hung' at the end of the install.
  I opened Chrome anyway and it was working. But Ubuntu has been
  exhibiting strange behavior after. This happened right after a fresh
  install of ubuntu 16.04 on my computer.
