Fix Released
Status in hyperlink package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
[Availability]
Both automat and hyperlink are available in universe.
[Rationale]
These packages are now a build dependency of the twisted source
package.
[Security]
Both packages are quite simple and did not have any CVEs reported. The
packages are maintained by the same developers as twisted, which is
already in main, and that have historically been reactive and proactive
wrt security issues.
[Quality assurance]
There are no open bugs in Debian (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=automat, https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=hyperlink) or Ubuntu
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/automat,
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hyperlink).
Both packages run their unit tests as part of the build process, as
well as with autopkg.
Both packages have a watch files in place.
[Dependencies]
The few dependencies (essentially bare Python) are already in main.
[Standards compliance]
The packages are lintian clean.
[Maintenance]
Both packages are maintained by the Debian Python Modules Team.
