Can it be backported to xenial?
Currently I patched the with:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?att=1;bug=801976;filename=samba.dhclient-hook.diff;msg=5

but it should be fixed for the lts version.

Bug description:
  /etc/dhcp/dhclient-enter-hooks.d/samba should check that smbd.service
  is enabled and running || exit without continuing.
