Status in apport package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  $ apport-collect 1239472
  > You need to run 'sudo apt-get install python-apport' for apport-collect to work.

  So far so good. So:
  $ sudo apt-get install python-apport
  (...)
  $ apport-collect 1239472
  > ERROR: The launchpadlib Python module is not installed. This functionality is not available.

  If that is needed, it should have been installed. That's what apt is
  all about, right?
