I upgraded to 16.04.  It upgraded but gets a : Sorry internal error.  It
come up but to select and install software from the software library does
not work.  how do i get back to older versions of ubuntu?

Bug description:
  I would like to upgrade from linux ubuntu version 12.04  to 14.04 but
  the configuration manager fails after the files download.   I've been
  trying to do this for several months.  What is the chance of upgrading
  to a later version?  The only version that is available to me is
  14.04.

  The message I keep getting is:
  An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

  Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:
  'E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.'
