Title:
"gio open" handles mailto: links wrong, putting /// at the start of
the email address
Status in GLib:
Fix Released
Status in glib2.0 package in Ubuntu:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
"gio open mailto:user at host" results in gio executing "thunderbird
mailto:///user@host", which is wrong and causes the address that shows
up in the thunderbird composition window to start with three slashes
when it shouldn't.
Proof, from "strace gio open mailto:user at host" output:
16976 execve("/usr/bin/gio", ["gio", "open", "mailto:user at host"], [/* 76 vars */]) = 0
16980 execve("/usr/bin/thunderbird", ["thunderbird", "mailto:///user@host"], [/* 78 vars */] <unfinished ...>
