Public bug reported:
I did not upgrade my system and used it a long time in an unupdated way.
Now it's causing me more and more problems so I looked for a way to
start a slow process becoming an updated system again. I started with
upgrading to Ubuntu 12.04 and now it popped up this problem:
Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
The package 'update-manager-kde' is marked for removal but it is in the removal blacklist.
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the command
'ubuntu-bug update-manager' in a terminal.
