  Startup Disk Creator freezes at "Writing Disk Image... / Finishing..."

Bug description:
  I am running Pop_OS! Alfa (Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 Zesty Zapus) on my
  System76 Lemur laptop, and I am trying to make bootable USB with
  "Startup Disk Creator". So far, I have formatted the USB stick into
  Ext4 format and made sure that there is only one partition. The .iso
  file is called ubuntu-17.04-desktop-amd64 (1,6 GB; 1 609 039 872
  bytes), and the md5sum equals with the one given at
  http://releases.ubuntu.com/zesty/MD5SUMS
  (18cc54af55d7ca931bbb8588e8d9c1bd).

  Information about the USB stick. Running "lsblk" and "lsusb" via
  Terminal gives me the following respones. First, "lsblk":

  Anyway, the problem is that the application get stuck in the final
  phase and nothing happens.
