Subject: where are you flying to?

The  NAD has a half  decent headphone amp  built  in.  Use that and buy
a cheapish  dac  like the  Modi  and then  spend the rest of the budget
on the best headphones you can afford. The  headphones  make the most
difference anyways.  HE-400's would be perfect  for the music you listen
too and they are super easy  to power. I've got  a set and really like
them a lot.
