Thanks for filing this bug.
>From the logs I see that you have had dpkg failing for quite some time,
in basically all operations.
Could you please attach /var/log/samba/log* to this bug? It should tell
us why samba is failing to restart.
Are you even using samba on this machine? Your smb.conf config file is
quite bare, with no shares.
