Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu
better.

I can confirm the typo is still present in the latest version of patch
on Ubuntu Artful. It seems like the README was unchanged from the
upstream project, so I've forwarded the issue so that can be fixed for
all :)
