  Lubuntu Installer Crashes

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  
  1) Autopartitioning using LVM failed while creating the volume group;

  2) ubi-partman crashed and computer locked up;

  3) Writing changes to partition table to disk causes a further crash.

  (Thes may be 3 different bugs or all related?)
