It's  usually pretty clear from the subtext of a title who is being
mocked. Is it really  that unreasonable  that some  people  would read
the  initial post as a mockery of trans people  and/or fat  people? I
love the shitty subs, but I don't think it's a reasonable  expectation
to have mean spirited attacks  on people who are  already made fun of.
Not saying that's what this was, but saying "Well it's  a shitty sub,
so people are  gonna  say shitty things"  doesn't seem  like a valid
excuse. The rest  of /r/shittyaskscience produces awesome jokes without
singling out any groups in particular, usually.
