Looks like all of Matthias' concerns were addressed and rhash now has a
team subscriber. MIR approved.

Title:
[MIR] rhash
Status in rhash package in Ubuntu:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
Availability:
- Already in universe and available on every archs.
Rationale:
- Used by new cmake 3.8.0 (in main).
Security:
- No files installed suid, sgid.
- No binaries installed in sbin.
- Not a plugin to security sensitive software.
- Not a daemon or opening a sensitive port.
- Use a well-defined symbols file.
Quality assurance:
- Should work without configuration.
- No debconf questions.
- No long-term outstanding bugs and updates by debian.
the two bugs have been triaged and already fixed upstream.
The status of important bugs in Debian's, Ubuntu's, and upstream's bug tracking systems must be evaluated. Links to these bug trackers need to be provided in the MIR report. Important bugs must be pointed out and discussed in the MIR report.
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?ordering=normal;archive=0;src=rhash;dist=unstable;repeatmerged=0 - 2 bugs found.
0 bug found in ubuntu's bug tracker.
UI standards:
Not applicable.
Dependencies:
everything is in main (debhelper, dpkg-dev and libssl-dev)
Standards compliance:
Should meet standard, no lintian overrides or warnings (one about outdated std-version).
Never had a CVE assigned.
Maintenance:
Simple package, low maintenance effort, and maintained well in Debian.
Background information:
Required to use cmake 3.8+. I personally would like to avoid having to fallback to the embedded library implementation inside cmake code, for obvious reasons.
