Public bug reported:

This error report came up. I've been sing Ubuntu 16.04 since March 2017,
so I'm still very new at it. I believe I had the above problems related
to installing librc6 packages, and upgraded using terminal. It seems
that my Ubuntu continues to have problems upgrading automatically, and
also upgrading using gui. This is possibly a security vulnerability,
from what I understand.
