Although Software Updater said it "failed" to apply the updates,
nevertheless when I run it again, no security updates are now listed as
available. And Synaptic confirms that openjdk packages are now at 8u121
(the updated version). So presumably it was some post-update procesing
that failed. I wish it was clearer, as I don't like not knowing if
everything is OK.

Bug description:
  Running Software Updater today (previous run was about a week ago),
  and selecting only Security updates, it updated openjdk from 8u111 to
  8u121. It raised two system problem reports near the end of the
  process. The first was about some other package, I think; sorry I
  don't remember which; I elected to submit it but didn't see any
  further invitation to add details like this. This is the second one.
