I don't know whether it is planned or not, so I cannot really answer
your question. However, it looks like the package has quite a few
Ubuntu-specific patches currently, so a new version will likely need to
be merged manually.

Bug description:
  Any chance of getting 4.5.2 in zesty?
  Using 4.4.5, some of my Windows 10 systems would take several minutes to load a directory, even an empty one. Seems to be resolved after building Debian's 4.5.2
