  package ttf-mscorefonts-installer 3.4 failed to install/upgrade

Status in msttcorefonts package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  When ttf-mscorefonts-installer package installs, and after I accept
  the MS EULA, it fails to download files from
  downloads.sourceforge.net.

  Here is the output of the commands that show the problem:

  $ dpkg -l ttf-mscorefonts-installer

  But the download from downloads.sourceforge.net is successful when I
  try to download the files manually with the following command (output
  is attached):

  So, what's going on here? About 6 months ago the installation of ttf-
  mscorefonts-installer package was successful (I don't know the version
  of the package at that time).
