Public bug reported:

Every session I've tried, in 17.10 (gnome, gnome classic, gnome wayland,
budgie, cinnamon, cinnamon software rending) Hangs the system when I go
to log out or shutdown. sometimes it completes sometimes I have to
restart lightdm from a tty. but gnome locks the session bus then and a
restart is required to fix it. system is ryzen 1600x rx580 on amdgpu. I
can't even find to logs, the log file viewer only holds logs since boot
no previous boots.

** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
