Bug description:
  Binary package hint: debian-installer

  I have been installing ubuntu hardy with the debian installer. The
  partition scheme was automatically generated by the installer using
  the full disk with Logical Volumes and seperate mount points for
  /boot, /, /tmp, /var, /usr, /home, swap. This resulted in /boot and /
  mount points of 256MB each. After the installation, the kernel upgrade
  failed because of lack of available space on /lib. The / mount point
  could not contain the two versions of the kernels. The default space
  usage for automatic partitionning should be set so that future
  upgrades can be performed.
