Your EFI system partition is corrupt; you will need to repair it using
either dosfsck, or Windows' chkdsk.

Bug description:
  reinstalling ubuntu on dual boot system. The dual boot was destroyed
  after bios update from Dell. Reinstalling ubuntu failed because grub
  fails to install.
