nvidia-opencl-icd-340 package produces an error while installing
After running sudo apt upgrade or sudo apt dist-upgrade, it produces the
following :
(Reading database ... 367190 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack .../nvidia-opencl-icd-340_340.98-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb ...
Failed to stop var-lib-snapd-lib-gl.mount: Unit var-lib-snapd-lib-gl.mount not loaded.
dpkg: warning: subprocess old pre-removal script returned error exit status 5
dpkg: trying script from the new package instead ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/nvidia-opencl-icd-340_340.98-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
there is no script in the new version of the package - giving up
Failed to get unit file state for var-lib-snapd-lib-gl.mount: No such file or directory
var-lib-snapd-lib-gl.mount is a disabled or a static unit, not starting it.
Errors were encountered while processing:

Expected to install the package.
It fails to install and also the other packages will fail to install.
This error occurred when release upgrade was happening from 16.04 to
16.10 and the problem continues to exist.
