Bug description:
  Binary package hint: findutils

  I'm trying to do a dist-upgrade from hardy to intrepid, and the
  upgrade itself fell over because xargs was crashing.

  Anything involving xargs seems to break:

  (intrepid-source)root at frobnitz:~# ls | xargs echo
