  language packages cannot be installed

Status in language-selector package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: language-selector

  In Ubuntu Lucid, when I try to install additional languages, I receive
  the following error message and then the installer cannot install
  anything anymore:

  "Could not apply changes! Fix broken packages first."

  Please note that there is nothing to fix in Synaptic Package Manager.
