shim-signed:
  Installed: 1.12+0.8-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1.12+0.8-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1.12+0.8-0ubuntu2 500
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I've checked a couple of existing shim-signed bugs; they seem to focus on the /boot/efi directory being missing, but I have one:
> du /boot/eft
4	/boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu/fw
72	/boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu
76	/boot/efi/EFI
80	/boot/efi/

> df /boot
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sdb4 28704764 8583044 18640556 32% /

** Affects: shim-signed (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
