Hi, my 16.04 is suffering from this bug even though a fix has been
released (apparently) 3 years ago.

Here's a (slightly sanitized) snippet of the syslog:

I have 3 drives in this computer:
the affected Kingston SSD (sda)
an unaffected mechanical HDD (sdb)
an older and unaffected Corsair SSD (sdc)

The Kingston is brand-new (a recent upgrade to an old computer originally built at the end of 2010)
Here's smartctl's output for this drive:

I don't really mind the fact that a new SSD isn't supported completely
right out-of-the-box, but I do mind the syslog-spamming.

Is there a way to turn off the warning messages?
Alternatively, a fix would be very much appreciated ;-)

BTW, I don't know if this is a regression when compared to earlier
Ubuntu releases. I reinstalled the system from scratch when I got the
Kingston SSD.
