Title:
dpkg seg fault warning during install

Status in dpkg package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Ran install with 05/07/2016 daily.

Crashes with a dpkg seg fault.

Similar seen on Xubuntu, there system reboots to login, allows login
which then hangs at blank screen.

Need to reboot here to confirm the same behaviour.
