[Bug 1530727] [NEW] System is 14.04. Attempting to upgrade to 15.04 - unable to determine upgrade

Public bug reported:

That's it really.  No special or unsupported packages in use as far as I
know.  e.g. no proprietary graphics drivers

Only other problem is that 5.1 surround sound on 14.04 had stopped
working in both analogue and hdmi - stereo only.   Not sure why?

Hoped that the upgrade might fix it.
