  update from wily to xenial fails, lots of package installation errors

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I wanted to upgrade from wily to xenial. I used "update-manager -d
  -c".

  During the upgrade, lots of package installation errors popped up. i
  could save the remainder of the terminal log from the update-manager
  application.

  ubuntu-bug update-manager failed afterwards, so i oculd not add all
  the files....
