Title:
  GRUB2 does not boot windows7 when installed in a different hard drive

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

  For some reasons I cannot successfully boot windows 7 from GRUB2. The
  following entry was added in 40_custom and ran update-grub.

  40_custom:
  menuentry "Microsoft Windows 7 TEST" {
      insmod ntfs
      set root=(hd1,0)
      search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set A4AC0BADAC0B78D6
      drivemap -s (hd0) ${root}
      chainloader +1
  }

  The scenario is this:
  - Both hard drives are SATA.
  - Ubuntu is installed on SATA0 mobo port and is being detected by gparted in sda
  - Win7 is installed on SATA1 mobo port and is being detected by gparted in sdb
  - When running update-grub, no errors are being reported and I can see that win7 got detected.
  - Finally, when choosing win7 from the grub2 list... the system appears to start but freezes when trying to load windows.

  If I disconnect the SATA0 hard disk (Ubuntu) and turn on my
  computer... windows 7 loads without any problems.
