[Bug 1573350] [NEW] install of 16.04 fails at installation of grub2

Public bug reported:

Installer initially informed me of an issue regarding UEFI being unable
to install. However on reboot attempting non UEFI install told me that
there was no boot medium.

I then attempted UEFI install which seemed to going fine until it
reached Grub2 install which failed telling me I would be unable to boot
new installation.
