  dist-upgrade cannot calculate packages, upgrade manager crashes, NOT
  related to Flight Gear installation

Bug description:
  Flight Gear (whatever that is) has nothing to do with dist-upgrade
  halting when calculating packages. Furthermore, precise 32-bit has
  been on this device since beginning five years ago, and not installed
  on the date indicated by bug-tracker.
